Sheila,

Good article that is very concisely written. As an Ivy League student, I know better what my expensive degree should and should not be expected to do. This sort of reporting is indicative of a very well-seasoned expert career counselor that is rarely found as open to the public and the common good as you are. Keep up the good work!

Sheila,

Beautifully written! This is timely information for me as I have started a journal club among the counseling staff.

Our first article of discuss is http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/26/AR2009082603408.html?hpid=topnews

We are going to discuss the value (or lack thereof) of an expensive liberal arts education in today's economy and how to approach first-year students seeking advice on the "best" majors.
